This course will teach you to use Microsoft Power Platform solutions to simplify, automate, and empower business processes for organizations in the role of a Functional Consultant.

A Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant is responsible for performing discovery, capturing requirements, engaging subject matter experts and stakeholders, translating requirements, and configuring Microsoft Power Platform solutions and apps.

The Functional Consultant implements components of a solution that include application enhancements, custom user experiences, system integrations, data conversions, custom process automation, and custom visualizations.

Upon completion of this course and practicing building solutions, we encourage you to get certified on PL-200 Certification Exam.

Overview

This course will teach you to use Microsoft Power Platform solutions to simplify, automate, and empower business processes for organizations in the role of a Functional Consultant.

This course contains a 4-day Applied Workshop. This workshop will allow you to practice your App Maker skills by creating an end-to-end solution to solve a problem for a fictitious company. The solution will include a Microsoft Dataverse database, Power Apps canvas app, and Power Automate flows.

Module 1: Introduction to Microsoft Power Platform

Learn about the components of Microsoft Power Platform, the business value for customers, and the security of the technology.

In this module, students will learn the fundamentals of cloud flows, including triggers and flows. They will create two flows, including an approval flow.
