Module 1 – Getting started with SharePoint Framework

This module explains the development options we have in SharePoint. It gives an overview of the toolchain of SharePoint Framework and how it fits into the SharePoint development story.

• 8 GB RAM
• 30 GB Free Hard disk

Software:

• Windows 10
• Visual Studio Code – https://code.visualstudio.com/
• Office 365 Enterprise E3 trial or Organization account – https://products.office.com/en-in/business/office-365-enterprise-e3-business-software
• High speed open Internet Connectivity (It should not block services on https://portal.office.com )
• Access to nodejs.org & npmjs.com should be enabled on Firewall
• NodeJS – Version 8.11.3 – https://nodejs.org/ca/blog/release/v8.11.3/
• Participants must be administrator on the PC/Laptop
